Isn't fire supposed to HURT spiders? Then why is this bitch actually USING it? Why is she not scurrying around like crazy dying slowly? Okay well, she did both but we had to help her along. Beth had been giving us some issues for awhile. After killing Shannox, we bounced back and forth between Beth and Rhy trying to get our bearings on who'd be easier. For awhile, Rhy did but then the Beth attempts started getting better and we kept pushing into the final phase. Damage to the raid is so high in this fight, healer mana was crying like a fat kid unable to reach a cupcake. The first few nights it was about finding the right people to do the many different jobs in this fight. The last few attempts were about surviving the final phase with people living and she just got meaner and badder. Last night, the early attempts were solid but the biggest issue was getting her not to eat spiderlings when she landed. It wasn't always the fault of anybody since she basically landed on them as she came down. On the kill attempt, she landed close to 80% and she ate no spiders. This enabled us to not worry about her being at 100% and set us ahead of the game on the final phase. Through great healing, we were able to put her down and move onto the next boss of the evening.
