Nervous System -- News
The NERVous Horde turns 5 this month! -- World of Warcraft News
  Posted  January 1, 2010  by
Through many trials and tribulations over the years, NERV will celebrate the new year by turning 5 on January 18th. Although officially starting in the late months of 2004, NERV's official charter date goes into effect on the 18th.

What started originally as some UT series people rolling on Bloodhoof shortly after WoW went live, we went from a group of people hanging out in a channel, to raiding instances like UBRS, Strath and Scholo, forging an alliance with ET, breaking off for our own 40 mans, and trekking along from there through TBC and WOTLK. We closed out TBC on a high note, leveled through WOTLK and arrived where we are today being one of 'Hoof's oldest, consistent and most respected guilds.

Along with the infamous Christmaspocalypse of 2008, we've survived perhaps the largest amount of offshoot guilds in the server's history. From out and out guilds that spawned directly from us like Sparta and Quint to guilds that took heavily from us like Everfrost, Inevitable, Entre Nous and more - we're still here and kicking loudly. 2009 saw one of our strongest years for progression but sadly was a year where we lost the most roots than any year prior. The officer core may have weakened but the player base as grown strong. Half a decade is down, can we complete a full one?
